Kids these days probably think that the current war for supremacy in the home video game market is intense, but let me tell you, it's nothing compared to the big one. I'm talking about the great war that divided a generation of games and gamers...
One modder produced an unofficial, modern-day take on the Game Gear.
Video Gamer writes: "There's a rogue underworld of devs operating clandestinely, still creating Game Boy games. We've spoken to one of them."
That was actually a good article.
I agree, sega gave snes a good fight, but in the end their can only be one winner. Snes had the best developers, in turn gave gamers what they wanted=Quality Games
Nintendo had more developers, more games, more fans and more money. But Sega was still better.
But referring to it as the BIG ONE is quite misleading. The gaming really started to get popular just after PlayStation. But the money, effort and work that is being used to fight in current console war is way bigger than Sega and Nintendo would have ever guessed.
I think its a bit wrong to praise the past gaming in this way considering how much more the current developers have to go trough.
Everything is bigger now.
