In honour of all the stick Twisted Metal’s visuals have been getting after the game’s first PS3 reveal, here’s a rundown of the best PlayStation games to have fallen out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.
Everyone knows Twisted Metal... I mean literally everyone! Whether it is simply a childhood classic for you, or one of the worst, mind-corrupting disgraces to entertainment you can think of, you've at least heard of this iconic title.
The WellPlayed crew gathers to pitch an appropriately deranged set of options for the future of Twisted Metal.
All I ask for is a new Twisted Metal that allows flat screen & PSVR2 cross play that also supports a wheel.
Would be heaven.
They need to get the enemy AI balance right. Thats what made 2 the best in the series. Black was abysmal in that dept.
You don't. Do sequels. If you've gotta reboot, might as well do a new IP. God of War is the only game I can say that did a successful reboot
PlayStation (PS1) game prices are beginning to get a little weird. The pandemic, renewed interest from collectors, and growing scarcity have all impacted PS1 game prices. CIB and New games can cost thousands for some titles. Use this list to snag some amazing old games to play or improve your collection without spending a fortune.
Still have my original PS1 my family got at Sam’s Club back in 1999 :) it still works and I have it hooked up to a 32” Sony Wega Trinitron that supports S Video and Component 👌🏼 PS1 games in S Video POP on there 🤩
Both reports are claiming that these games all looked good at the time they were released. This simply is not true of any of them.
One also claims the article says Silent Hill is too gloomy. It does not.
Obviously they look bad compared to the games released today but back then they were fine, think what games will look like in 10 years time compared to the ones today..we'll be laughing.
Also, Twisted Metal for the PS3 doesn't have to look like Uncharted 2.
GTA didn't look that bloody bad on PS1, I know PC had a higher res, but that's ridiculous.
They should be showing top PS3 games with bad graphics, not PS1 and PS2 era games.
Yet they've done much better than expected (even by your average Halo Fanboy's standards).
