man, why do they keep doing this....

All this is is a simple port of the PC version (which wasn't very good). I'll be surprised if it does 10k.

SOAD5062d ago

It will probably do much better than 10k.

Hades13375062d ago

Cause if not, then I doubt you've played it.

Perjoss5062d ago

I think the latest release on the wii is doing quite well, this might help frontier get a western release.

UnSelf5062d ago

Wait, it's not gonna come to NA??? I got excited for nothing then.

If it does come here, it's a must buy especially for those who love co-op and challenges. Hundreds of hours worth of gameplay.

If only it would come to the PS3 with full english translations....

If you remember playing the original one on the PS2 people ended up doing those stupid plate runs where they suicide to get their stuff. Then you got the Great Sword noobs who always up slash you into the air and get you killed. The game is good but there was always room for improvement on the gameplay, I hated how people whored out headlocking with a spear or spammed out the upslashes with the great sword. Also, theres the dreaded lag that will get you late killed. (PC version probably doesn't suffer from this.)

ThanatosDMC5062d ago (Edited 5062d ago )

Sucks that you played with douche bags but i played with close friends so we cooperated properly unless we screwed around to get each other killed.

Frontier is basically the same old Monster Hunter game but that in itself is not a bad thing for fans of the series. Frontier is also jack full of content... basically put all the Monster Hunter games except Frontier and multiply it by four and you've got Frontier. It's also updated with new items, monsters, and maps almost every 6 months.

I played it on the PC using the tunneling whatever so that my IP is recognized properly by the japanese server... i didnt last long since i couldnt understand anything but there was so much to do and the community is huge... but then again the game is extremely popular in Japan.

Here's the guide to play in now... it's in Japanese though. Yes, you have to pay. http://www.onrpg.com/boards...

Since they're going to make it the subscription to come with free Xbox LIVE, I don't see why not I wouldn't play this. I've always been interested in Monster Hunter, and I grew somewhat bored with PC gaming.

Newtype5062d ago

They should import the PC version, MMOs are better with a PC. Reason why I am getting FF XIV on the PC. Macros FTW!

Gene5062d ago

fuck man bring it my 360 freinds want this game it would be perfect for x-box live.
