This DS game already looked awesome and this was unanimously predicted to be Wii bound but ....the PS3 is you know...a very powerful machine....with longevity on its side....expect more of this trend to happen in the near future. For art-games like these quality of hardware is a must not quantity, right Team ICO?

More family games for our PS3 Sony.

Another strategic win for the PS3 because the world includes an Eastern gaming country called Japan.

Oh yeah I should've mentioned, on the right hand page, the middle 2 pics with the small white box on the top left and bottom right of the pics, says "In Game Screenshot".

Edit: Fine print on the bottom of first page says, "Pics with blue frames are animation, pics with white frames are in game screenshots"

Ok I just found out that this isn't a DS port and the in-game visuals for the PS3 version will look like the CGI cutscenes of the DS version.

It probably will.

Since Level 5 regularly release there titles on Western shores, although it'll probably be very much later than it's released in Japan.

Level 5 is opening up an international head quarter in California, hopefully that means this game will be ported over to western audiences faster then other Level 5 games.

Why wouldn't it? Studio Ghibli always release their movies abroad, and hell, they've even got so much recognition in the west they got an Oscar. Also most of Level 5's games are released in the west (except for some titles for NDS)

that is pretty weird. A previous DS title going to PS3... Interested to see how it turns out and what are the differences from both versions. But I love Studio Ghibli and Level-5, so I would've purchased it either way. Good thing I have both DS and ps3.

Well, a lot of things are unclear right now:

1) Is the DS game dead?
2) Is the PS3 game a port?
3) Is the PS3 game a seperate game entirely?
4) Did someone do an amazing job of faking the picture?

Good questions Valay. Fortunately there's Tokyo game show to look forward to so maybe all your questions will be answered there. But I really hope both are different in a way and not just ports or what not.

That's pretty much where I'm at. If I enjoy a game, I'll do my best to 100% it. Like witcher 3, I went through the whole thing, every side quest, every contract, every question mark. Then with the Batman titles, I just kinda flew through the story. If I got a trophy, great, if not, I didn't go out of my way to nab it.
I like trophies, they scratch that completionist itch. I just don't have the time to be a completionist when it comes to gaming.

That's just off the top of my head. Anyone care to help me decide what's next?

I also need to buy GTAV, Fallout 4, Divison, Far Cry Primal, Arkham Knight and a ton of others.

Holy crap! That's one hell of a backlog. About 10 of those games I got at launch. Fallout 3 was actually my first platinum. Wowser! You got some serious work ahead of you :3

I'm like 35ish hours into Fallout 3. I don't 100% any games and I feel like I've gone a "good amount" of things in it. Granted, I do have the GOTY edition, so I'm sure there's like 100+ hours of content left ... I "beat" New Vegas in about 40 and felt good about it. I didn't do any stories on the strip, but instead went in guns blazing! Good times!

- Kingdom Hearts 2.5 (I played 2 only I still have to playthrough the other 2)
- Yakuza 4

Ps4:
- The Division (got to grindty so I stopped at level 20 I may get into it later)
- Mortal Kombat XL
- Beyond Two Souls
- Final Fantasy Type Zero
- Final Fantasy X
- Driveclub
- Every single one of the ps plus games accumulated over the last year

PC
- I have about 100 games in my steam library. Since my game completion ratio is 27% it's safe to say I have 70 uncompleted PC games

Well I'm finishing Soma (been working on it for a month). Then I have Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor, Assassin's Creed: Syndicate and Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection. Although after Middle-Earth it'll be time for Doom and then I'll play the entire Uncharted series back to back including 4. Then it'll be either The Division or Dishonored II.

My backlog is soo huge, I have 300 games on my steam account with only about 100 of which I have finished. Then I have about 25 games on ps3 and almost as much on ps4 and a couple on xbox360 and ps2 which I didn't finish. I don't know if ill ever get throught it.... but I generaly finish at least 1 game per month.

Soma is incredible. I've been working on it a month. Taking suprisingly long given that I got the platinum for Fallout 4 less than a month after launch.

My biggest problem is that I'll play through a fair portion of a game, buy a new one and start playing that instead, saying to myself that I'll go back to the first one once I'm finished with the new one. Then the cycle repeats.

I'm playing/revisiting so many games that I'm not even gonna bother listing them and even more games will be added this month and April. I will say that I've had Bloodborne since launch and barely even played it because I suck at those types of games. Couldn't even get 10 mins into it without getting destroyed. Started playing it last week, beat the first 2 bosses and now I'm totally hooked.

This is what sucks about owning all current gen consoles because there's so much too play and I just needed to start focusing on beating 1 or 2 games a month not 10. Plus working 2 jobs, 7 days a week; my gaming time has been to cut down to 4 hours a day if that on top of trying too have a " social " life.

Backlog... God my is huge.
Well over 100 PS3 games, around 40 or 50 360 games, 25 ish PS4 games, 10 or so X1 games, 10 or so Wii U games, 4 wii games and over 100 steam games.

And these aren't even mostly indies. It's titles like gears, BF hardline, killzone, Zelda TP (HA!), Alien isolation, red dead, shadow of the colossus, etc etc.

Sad part is my Gamerscore is like 25,000 and I'm at trophy level 25.

Ha! I'm only like 23,000 GS and LVL 14 or something on trophies which is odd considering the sheer amount of games I play. And the sad part is I don't have any platinum trophies.

I have hundreds of games in my backlog. It only takes one multi-year MMO addiction (looking at you, EQ) to back stack a plethora of playable gems.

I'll get caught up someday. Been trying to push off RPGs till then but making an exception for "Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate." ;)

Saving all your turn based strategy games, i hope! I can say at 31 my twitch reflexes weren't what they were when i was 10. Can't beat mike tyson anymore. :-/

I hate turn base strategy games. I remember trying Fire Emblem Path of Radiance and I couldn't get into it. Sold it and never bought another.

That's a shame. I really love games like Final Fantasy Tactics, Vandal Hearts, Arc the Lad, Ogre Battle, Civilization, Heroes of Might and Magic, Panzer General and so on.

Maybe when you get older and find it harder and harder to play the games you once loved, you'll find one that suits your fancy! Or maybe by then twitch reflexes won't be a thing. VR and such.
