THQ Inc. has announced today that a slate of videogames based on DreamWorks' Megamind, the forthcoming feature film from DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc., are currently in development for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable (PSP), Wii and Nintendo DS. Scheduled to release this November in conjunction with the feature film s release on November 5th, the videogames will extend the films supervillain-turned-superhero storyline with new characters, environments and twists, giving players the chance to experience the comical and over-the-top adventures of the Megamind universe right in their own living room.

Remember THQ? They published such games as Avatar: The Last Airbender, Darksiders I & II, the Destroy All Humans series, Homefront, the Red Faction series, and Saint's Row 1-3. Almost as famous as their games were the THQ marketing stunts, including a Golden Wii.
