damn can't wait to get a heavy bolter shooting at waves of tyranides :D

But OP is somehow right, GW2 and SWmmo will hurt it.

On a side note : I'm currently playing DOW2, man it kicks ass, I really enjoy it.

looks pretty good to me so far.
that site on the other hand probably won't even live to see the launch of the game.

Well, I reckon it'll be getting a few months subs out of me.

They seem to be playing it safe and just ripping off WAR and WoW - but I can live with that as I love 40k

Chak, Jdoki:
Absolutely agree. I can't wait for it to come out; I will happily suffer through the day one patches and blackouts to get into the game. I just hope it's able to hold its own.

The only reason WAR didn't do as well as it should have was because everyone's friends were playing WoW still and the two games are very similar in terms of theme(even though I did enjoy a lot of elements of WAR more than WoW). That does not mean WAR is a bad game.

This game is NOT scheduled for a 2011 release. It's 2012-2013, which is exactly WHY they haven't shown much of it. Vigil literally just got the go ahead to start making it when Darksiders was almost done, meaning it hasn't even been in development for a year yet, and this guy is saying it should be released right now? Who releases an MMO in 10 months? Nobody. It will come out AT LEAST a year after The Old Republic, and a year and a half to two years after Cataclysm. Destined to fail? You know nothing, all you want is clicks. Shameful and ignorant excuse for an article.

Show me where it says 2012-2013. Personally, that's great news if it's true.

The only reason why WAR stagnated was it had a conflict of interest of what it was going to be. Mythic, the developers, were known for creating Dark Age of Camelot, an MMO with a dedicated fanbase. The DAoC players joined WAR and started advocating mechanic changes to things that mirrored DAoC. Mythic was split from comments of the fanbase between trying to turn WAR into another DAoC, or trying to make the game into something unique. The ensuing conflict (and various crap that happened afterwards) pretty much pulled WAR down into the ground where it is now.

WAR is not a bad game. It's just not really going anywhere at the moment, it seems.

I don't expect the same thing to happen with Dark Millennium.

Make it exciting again: Space Marine

In these series, games will be featured with thoughts for re-inventing, or made better by adding (subtracting) some new elements into one (or more) of their existing building blocks. It is all wishful thinking in the end but one cannot know where a game director seeks inspiration from.

This week - a favorite of many Warhammer 40k fans and a game that deserves a sequel.

What The Hell Is Going On With Warhammer: 40,000: Dark Millenium?

Kotaku - It's a strange thing, the video game industry. The people who publish big games will sometimes cancel, move, or overhaul them entirely. Nothing wrong with any of that, but one big problem is that along the way, some of those publishers will clam up. They'll refuse to give straight answers or talk about their plans.

It looked really great I m more of a time of legends fan then ye space marines but it's still warhammer. It was originally slated to be an mmo but they didn't have the budget it seems I still hope it releases now that it's an adventure type game with increased emphasis on MP.

Edit: looool at the interview that was more like an integration he was even doubting the thq representatives words! xD funniest interview ever! "What does DMO stand for?" hahahahahaha
