Mass Effect 2 Overlord DLC Review - Explicit Gamer

The Overlord DLC is well worth the tag if you are a Mass Effect 2 junkie; the lack of items, new characters and only an hour or two of story may not justify the price-tag for others.

Seems kinda pricey for what you get...

GUCommander5080d ago

Yea my thoughts exactly. They can't give us all this free content through the Cerberus network then expect to charge us $7 for such a small amount of content.

Kasumi was the same way, but at least she was a full character you could use for the entire game, with unique dialog and everything. I had saved 560 on my account for this, but since Shadow Complex is on sale this week for the same price, I bought that instead. Probably gonna pass on this if it's only an hour or two worth of missions and no new items.

An hour or two seems to be a re-occuring theme in these paid DLCs for ME2 then again there is only one other to go off of. Hopefully their will be one that just stretches past that mark although looking at the price point now I do wonder how it would look if it does.

Either way still need to pick this one up :|

I'll probably still get it because ME2 owns...

What in the sweet belova jesus???
Horror is probably the least common genre out there.
And for those those retards that don't know FPS's have taken over mainstream gaming ever since the release of CoD4.

Read the article. It's about the prevalence of horror themes in major, mainstream titles - even if actual horror games themselves have become less and less common.

Both Mass effects, the Oblivion and the Fallout. Have Bioshock waiting but too much gaming goodness at the moment to be able to get near it.

On a side note, I was over GTA 4 pretty quickly, didn't even finish it. Thought it was a bit over-rated myself...

Minerva's Den was so good. People say it was 4 hours long, but I remember getting at least 8 hours out of it. Minerva's Den almost feels like a fully fledged game.

I dunno, I thought "the writer" was better than "the signal" in both gameplay and story. Even if there was just sequel bait at the end

Games With The Best DLC (RunDLC)

Lots of publishers support downloadable content, but not all of these updates are worth the dough. Activison’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, for example, has two map packs, but each one costs a whopping $15, putting them just outside the range of budget minded gamers. Other companies, however, release quality DLC that more than justifies the cost. If you intend to get the most from your games, these content heavy hitters will keep you playing for months.
