2 of those games better be Shenmue 1 and 2...

-Alpha5065d ago

I'd especially like that, I've never played Shenmue.

Sweet Jesus, I'm glad to see this happening, it's dream come true.

Please release Power Stone 2 in HD and with online!

Rainstorm815065d ago

You beat me to the punch, Power stone online is needed.

A few others: Sword of the Berserk, a Remastered Ready 2 Rumble online, Armada online, Resident Evil: Code Veronica, Shenmue, and Jet grind Radio remastered and im all set.

Dreamcast had over 25 good games???

BYE5065d ago

Same here, never played a Shenmue but I get the feeling this could turn into one of my all time favorites once playing it.

Rainstorm815065d ago

But Dreamcast wasnt drenched with good games, 25 great to good games sounds about right to me.

To all who disagreed feel free to name 30 Great Dreamcast games......

zeeshan5065d ago

Oh god I hope they make a Shenmue 3! Just imagine, Shenmue 3 and perhaps exclusive to PS3. OMG!!!! *faints*

tablav5065d ago

Shenmue was a classic Sega title. I have a PS3 but I think that's a game that EVERYONE should get to play. Also, Shenmue has the illusion of an open-world, but it's pretty scripted, so I don't think a multiplat would really detract from the gameplay experience.

tablav5065d ago

I said it a while back, but I really think Shenmue coming to PSN & XBLA would be amazing. And that way, it would probably gain enough of a following and make enough money to warrant finally ending the trilogy.

Sega sells Relic and will cut 240 jobs across UK studios

GamesIndustry.biz writes: "Relic is best known for the Company of Heroes and Dawn of War games, and recently developed the new Age of Empires for Microsoft. Relic will transition to an independent studio and will no-longer be part of the Sega group of studios.

The majority of the 240 job cuts are across Creative Assembly and Sega Europe, while there will be a ‘small number’ cut from Sega HARDLight. There was no mention of other Sega UK studios, including Two Point Studios and Sports Interactive."

Shame about Creative Assembly, they should have just been allowed to do an Alien Isolation sequel.

just_looken31d ago

It was that garbage coh 3 that did them in only a special team can make a sequel worse in every way even though it was a 10 year gap and the same era.

gold_drake32d ago

I hope they find new jobs in the industry soon.

Jingsing32d ago

Two Point Studios and Sports Interactive probably run on a shoe string budget so that fits into SEGA better lol
