Sony blew Microsoft and Nintendo right out of the water with the sheer number of exclusive games (that target the core gamer) announced. Let us take a look at a bunch of the exclusives that were shown at today's conference at E3 2010.

man e3 has so much good news. im on n4g home page f5'ing the hell out of my keyboard

poindat5081d ago

Expect to see Last Guardian at TGS. It's gonna be a bit of a wait, but I'm sure that it'll end up being more than worth it.

evrfighter5081d ago

meh only one I care about is Twisted Metal

sikbeta5081d ago

Last Guardian = Masterpiece Confirmed since The Reveal of The Game...

O-T

Why Sony is the King of Exclusives?

Well That cos They Have +20 first Party Devs Making the Best To Create Amazing Games...

pain777pas5081d ago

Thats right TGS is where the PSP2 and Last Guardian will be unveiled for sure. Sony and Nintendo did well this year I'm happy for both companies. Sony though with Sorcery really laid the smackdown. I see that going up against Zelda. It will lose maybe but I am very intrigued because that is the game I will buy move for at launch with Socom and Heavy rain and Whatever good party game they got. Sony you saved E3 and Nintendo with 3DS you've got a guranteed sale right here. SF4 3DS and MGS come on now. Take my money!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shadow Flare5081d ago

Sony are the most foward thinking company in gaming. They were smart enough to realise they need a big first party family. Shame Microsoft weren't that smart

Cajun Chicken5081d ago

Look, am I the only one that thought the trailer of Infamous 2 was quite uneventful? I kind of expected more for a game coming out supposedly early next year.

Dramscus5081d ago

What more did you want from it. There are better graphics, ice powers, a sword, big monsters.. I was impressed.

webeblazing5081d ago

summer next year it came out last summer you remember

Cajun Chicken5081d ago (Edited 5081d ago )

More story really. Maybe an epic gameplay scene like Uncharted 2 last year.

Actually I forgot it came out in Summer '09. I thought it came out around the same time as Killzone 2.

Controversy5081d ago

I must hand it to Sony. Nobody does exclusives like they do.

Noble Spartan5081d ago (Edited 5081d ago )

LOL Nintendo Won haha Sony + MS sony wasn't good at all.

Nintendo has owned.

Move overpriced wiimote with rip off wii sports games

good exclusive only killzone 3 and LPB
whereas MS Halo Reach Gears 3

nintendo had a list of comebacks and icons from old ages and games also 3ds hardware was great whole show was excellent.

Tiger woods 20 mins demo on sony....yawn Wii sports montage Yawm
Natal just dance rip off yawn

Fable wannbe with move yawm. and plenty more.

GUCommander5081d ago

Lol...wow. just wow. Way to sound objective. You sound like a raging fanboy coming to us live from your mother's basement.

talltony5081d ago

he is a spartan what do expect. You read comments like that all you have to do is look at their name to see why.

Cevapi885081d ago

really overpriced?? the one company that actually gave a price...didnt see a 3DS price or Kinect price....and you talk about how they show 2 good exclusives and your comeback is..........TWO other MS exclusives....you do realize what math is??

xJxdOggyStYLe5081d ago

id say nintendo won this e3......with a very very very very verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry slight edge for ps3 in 2nd...and msoft 3rd cuz the focused to hard on natal....but....id say a tie with sony n msoft..both were pretty lame i knew about everything in the conference..except the over pricing of the waggle control move, so....overall ...e3 wasnt that good this year..i dont like all this motion BS bein forced on me

Johnanderson5081d ago

LBP2 blew me away... the possibilities.... were endless

Sashamaz5081d ago

well infamous 2 was there so...

LEGENDARY PELON5081d ago

Good news for ps3 owners, pretty good games indeed!

But sony still needs that one game thats on the same Caliber of games like Halo!

not to Mention that Halo Reach will rape and murder all this games!!

iceman065081d ago

Sony has never really thrived on ONE game. It's not mascot driven, it's not single genre driven. It is a conglomerate of great games from just about every genre...that sell incredibly well. No...one game won't do Halo numbers...but what game does....oh yeah...Wii Fit!*LOL*

joydestroy5081d ago

yeah Twisted Metal! was so happy that finally got let out. demo they showed needs tons of work.

i also like that Sorcerer game. needs polish but looked fun =P

Dave13515081d ago

GamingForever5081d ago

I still think nintendo won but then again, I'm a nintendo fan..

-Alpha5081d ago (Edited 5081d ago )

I don't think it's fair to say Sony "blew" Nintendo away. MS, yes, but Nintendo had a strong showing of exclusives too.

Nintendo had more surprising games no one knew about and they are all from very great franchises, so cut Nintendo some slack and show them some respect. Sony was awesome, yes, but I wouldn't say they blew Nintendo away. I very much want a Wii now. Really, both were great for their own reasons.

Sony Fiend5081d ago

Nintendo killed it, but Sony killed it also. I don't know how to put it otherwise.

despair5081d ago

yea but it all depends on the type of game a person looks forward too, me I played the crap out of Donkey kong on the snes so going back to that doesn't fit with me, I also found the art design and look of the new zelda to be lacking something. Kirby looks good i guess but the gameplay of all these games are just not my type.

hoops5081d ago

IMO Nintendo and Sony tied.
They both brought their A game while MS got a F- from Crocker.....

Mista T5081d ago

gotta love alpha male and his comments

colonel1795081d ago

I remember you had one bubble at some time, and now you are the first with six. Your comments are actually good.

Christopher5081d ago

Nintendo definitely won it on the hardware front with the 3DS.

Game-wise, think it's a good tie between Sony and Nintendo, but I'd give the edge to Nintendo for delivering on some IPs that have been shelved for way too long.

Japanese Game Systems For The Win!

Nugundam00795081d ago

As always speaking the damn truth.

JackBNimble5081d ago

Or is it about who is going to bring it? Because from what I've seen things are looking pretty dam good for the PS3 in the near future.

peeps5081d ago

This was the strongest nintendo for a long time imo. I've never been much of a fan for nintendo games but i must say i was impressed. Sony just edged it though imo with a killer line up + some nice little surprises such as portal 2 and humor from KB

thematrix12985081d ago

Fact >>> Being Fan

Sony had the best 2010 E3. I think it's probably the biggest presentation in E3's history.

Anarki5081d ago (Edited 5081d ago )

Cut him some slack, I think any one can admit that Nintendo had a good E3. Me, being a Fan of PS3 can even admit that fact.

Though, I'd love to punch Reggie fils-aimes clear in the face... He has one of those faces....

Anarki5081d ago

Nintendo did show a good E3, that's a given. For me, Sony taken the cake. But I can say that Nintendo did good. Maybe I'll pick up a Wii again given the fact that Nintendo are finally breaking free from all the crap games and opening their eyes.

Anyway, on topic: I agree, the games appeal to me more than any other console. There's a massive variety of games genres, which isn't found on any other console. You cannot argue with that..

IMChampion5081d ago

Was looking for to seen The Last Guardian and Agent, even some DC Universe Online.

jonboi245081d ago

I expect will see more of The Last Guardian at Tokyo Game Show and maybe at GamesCon.

tinybigman5081d ago

wasnt shown because R* wasnt there and perhaps the games not ready to be shown. did anyone think of this possibility?

MichaelJ3255081d ago

I'm most impressed with what Nintendo brought to the table. But these PS3 exclusives are killer. I grew up on Gran Turismo, so I'm most excited about that release.

I can't justify why I don't own a PS3 anymore. Time to get that savings account started.

All I ask for is a new Twisted Metal that allows flat screen & PSVR2 cross play that also supports a wheel.
Would be heaven.

Babadook7296d ago

Wow. I like the idea of VR twisted metal with a wheel.

Rebel_Scum295d ago

They need to get the enemy AI balance right. Thats what made 2 the best in the series. Black was abysmal in that dept.

neomahi295d ago

You don't. Do sequels. If you've gotta reboot, might as well do a new IP. God of War is the only game I can say that did a successful reboot

TiredGamer295d ago (Edited 295d ago )

Isn’t the new GoW just a sequel technically?

I personally think they can leverage the roots of the series. The original TM in 1995 took place on Christmas Eve 2005, and it was the 10th contest in history. Why not “reboot” the franchise by making a prequel of sorts showing the origin story of the series and maybe linking all the future games in a brilliant way. Seems like such an obvious idea to leverage old with the new (kind of look how Doom 2016 did with its lore).

Knightofelemia295d ago

Just make it a good game Twisted Metal has it's fan base.

Up there with the top tier in the industry. Love Guerrilla Games - Horizon Burning Shores is simply STUNNING.

1Victor370d ago

Can’t wait for their next franchise

SullysCigar370d ago

Same. They nailed it with Horizon. The trouble is I also want a new Killzone! Can't I just have it all?!

jznrpg370d ago

I’m with you I want Horizon 3 , Killzone and new IPs

badz149369d ago

I have yet to play Burning Shores as I just started Forbidden West (bought at launch, just unwrapped last weekend LOL) and playing on PS5.

man...I still can't believe the graphics especially now I'm playing it on my LG OLED. that graphics and with stable performance backing it up, GG really is the master of their craft!

Vengeance1138370d ago

32.7M sales in the Horizon franchise! With 8.4M coming from Forbidden West alone! Truly a hugely successful game and franchise as a whole. Looking forward to Horizon III

Shane Kim370d ago

That's kind of a huge drop though. It's only been two games.

VersusDMC370d ago

One year after realease HZD sold 7.6 million.

https://www.noobfeed.com/ne...

So not a drop off.

Unless you're saying a HFW should have sold as much now as HZD sold in 5 years?

Vengeance1138370d ago

It's been 3 games, this includes Call of the Mountain. Also no, its a great improvement over HZD.

solideagle370d ago

lol you are comparing:

HZD: 28 February 2017 - May 2023 (6 years+)

HFW: 18 February 2022 - May 2023 (1 year+)

We will see if it surpass original number.

Phoenix76370d ago

@shane, 2 full main games, 2 DLC add ons, 1 VR spin off game, oh and a an official LEGO set.
Not too bad for an ip that's only been on market for 6 years

REDGUM369d ago

Wow, very impressive. I didn't know the numbers were so high for Forbidden West. Still playing through it myself

thesoftware730370d ago (Edited 370d ago )

Yooo, when I first saw that Killzone 1 footage at E3, my friends my brothers and I were like, Holy shit! When it came out, it didn't look exactly like it, but we sunk so many hours into 1 & 2.

I even liked Killzone: SF, it was a spectacle to look at, and even today it looks good. I hope they make a new one. Can you imagine how that will look, and they can get some modern FPS pointers from Bungie.

blacktiger369d ago

thank you fps lover, I'm with you

talocaca370d ago

Such a wonderful studio. They deserve all their success.

The Decima Engine is absolute 🔥 I'm just mad they have abandoned Killzone.

OzzY-waZZy370d ago (Edited 370d ago )

Kinda wish they move on from Horizon tbh.

potatoseal370d ago

They are probably working on mutiple projects. One of them is Horizon 3, but another is a multiplaer game and probably somehting else.

Imalwaysright370d ago

There were rumours that they were working on a Socom reboot.
