Dreamcast Classics Confirmed for Xbox LIVE Arcade & PlayStation Network

Following numerous rumours over the past month, SEGA Europe has today announced plans to bring classic titles from its popular Dreamcast console to Xbox LIVE Arcade for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation Network later this year. Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi will be the first two classics made available, with Sonic leading the pack in Autumn 2010 for the 11th anniversary of the launch of the Dreamcast in Europe.

Dude, I just shed a tear by thinking that!
You know how many hours I played PSO?!?! More than 200 hours! The best part?! I played them OFFLINE!! I swear! I got to level 100 with all the magic except one, dozens of diferent MAGs and lots of rare weapons! I got to see some rare monsters too! That game is a BEAST in terms of item content! Great gameplay and by Dreamcast´s time standard, great visuals!

Oh, PSO with full online support... Shenmue on PSN... boy oh boy...

This is great news! I already have Sonic Adventure on my Dreamcast, but I'll be first in line to buy Crazy Taxi and also Sonic Adventure 2 if it gets released.

What does Sega have to do with this game? Did Sega buy up the title from Capcom? I know it was released from the Dreamcast, but Sega has nothing to do with that title, you want this title your going have to ask Capcom for that. As for the rest of Sega - Dreamcasts titles I would not mind getting some of them.

I think it had more to do with the emulation of Dreamcast games vs the game itself.
I dont think Capcom could bring it over w/o their permission due to contracts I assume

If they want to bring Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2, why would they bring the dreamcast versions instead of the gamecube versions with more content?

I would like to think Sega never forgot about Armada. HD graphics, online, and even some added content would make me drop a tear of joy. Oh, and I would wanna see Skies of Arcadia GC version on there. That probably wont happen though.

Oh and I would like to add that I think Microsoft and the media are pathetic. Both sides have been acting like Dreamcast games were exlusive to the 360 for almost 2 weeks now, when in fact its on the psn as well. That kinda marketing is low, and will be the death of the gaming division as more and more people snap out of the trance and realize that Microsoft and Co. are nothing but a bunch of vultures feeding off of Sony and Nintendo's glory.
