WireJacked - Among many music based games that will be appearing at the E3 Expo next week, one of the most highly anticipated is without a doubt Power Gig: Rise of the SixString from Seven45 Studios. In preparation for their E3 showing Seven45 has given us our first real look at PowerGig, and we have a preview for you after the jump.
"2011 is a huge year for gaming: Nintendo and Sony will release their new handhelds this year and there are a plethora of brilliant titles being released this holiday season. This year is going to be great, but the only way games have progressed this far is by trial and error."- FlipDock
I've played most of them; freakin' Quantum Theory was particularly awful to the point where I had to actually stop playing it.
Neocrisis: Power Gig dev Seven45 Studios did not go into detail regarding the number of staff being laid-off, apparently it was due to the cycle of game development and a re-focus on future projects.
Are you ready to rock it real? Brought to the world by Seven 45 Studios, Power Gig: Rise of the Six String is the first music game to feature a peripheral that is modeled to feel and play like a real guitar, complete with strings and even an amp plug in! And although the presentation could be much better, the fun that can be had along with the fair price point gives Seven 45 a nice first step with room to improve.
This is the only one I'm truly interested in. Why play like your playing a guitar when you could actually learn how to play a guitar... so you can sit in a park and pick up chics with your gaming skills. ;)
