Rumored to be the final installment of the franchise, Shrek Forever After left us both convinced we had seen the best Shrek film yet. So if this was indeed the last entry, they finished with a bang in my view. A few days after we had seen the movie Shrek Forever After, the game, arrived at my home office. I have to be honest; after seeing the movie the kid in me was really looking forward to firing the game up even though it is clearly geared for the young ones."
Shrek Forever After continues the trend of Shrek movie tie-in games that'll litter up the bargain bins for years to come. Its promises of family multiplayer fun fail to materialise, leaving this as yet another stinky movie tie-in game.
Movie licences are becoming ever more frequent on the iDevice platform, so it was no surprise to see the green ogre himself pop up in a game based on the latest (and apparently last) movie, Shrek Forever After.
If you’re a regular GameStater, you would’ve been quick to notice my regular disappointment of movie tie-in games. They are the scum of the earth and yet again, I was disappointed to receive this copy of Shrek Forever After.
