Hell yeah. System Shock badly needs a proper decent sequel, or at least a revamped re-release.
And Deus Ex 3 isn't a 3rd person cover shooter, it only goes that way when you take cover. You don't have to do that at all. As long as you don't press the cover button, you can ignore that entire feature - and perspective.
