Nintendo new handheld idea

Loot Ninja came across this while reading some of the forums at NeoGaf, user Shogmaster came up with some sick sketches of a possible new design for the Nintendo DS, which he nicknamed the Nintendo TS.

Looks cool, even though it's merely concept art. This would give them the option for nice wide screen videos or browsing.

taz80806140d ago

Pretty much that is all it is, feel kind of bad people are reporting it as fake, never meant for it to be labeled as a real design change, just an interesting idea.

to the sonyericsson/psp mobile .the conspect which was in the web few months ago.just the colour is the diffrence

taz80806140d ago

yeah it looks pretty sick. i like the flipping motion like a sidekick.

MyNutsYourChin6140d ago (Edited 6140d ago )

I do like how this guy included a split panel quarter rotation to unveil the D-pad and buttons. He should've thrown in an analog nub and and thumbprint device that locks the system so no one can use it. And while he was at it, a webcam type lens would've been a plus too...and maybe a credit card slot to purchase online stuff, a laser pointer just for fun, and a cup holder so I can play with two hands as I drink my beer.

taz80806140d ago (Edited 6140d ago )

I didnt say this was fact, just an idea as stated in the title. This is a users rendition, i just found it interesting and almost feasible as a new design. I have tried to change it to a rumor status but it does not show?

MyNutsYourChin6140d ago

I'm not calling you out and saying that you said it's fact or expressing that you're post is dumb. I'm just saying this is total BS. I actually liked viewing this.

taz80806140d ago (Edited 6140d ago )

yeah i agree, i tried to switch the category to rumor like you suggested. I actually didnt see that one in there before, this is my first submission to n4g. thanks for the info though. i'm not sure if it took though, the change to rumor? can someone help?

Komrad6140d ago

Didn't sony have a diagram of a device recently that had a rotating screen not dissimilar to this sketch? or am i time traveling again?

taz80806140d ago

Not sure, I am a bit surprised at all the reports of this being fake? Of course it isnt real, the title says it is an idea, not a fact. I Like how someone quoted the forum as well in the report. I have already requested for the status to be changed to RUMOR by the original submitter. Relax guys no one is trying to report false news here, just a cool design idea.

thats so crazy haha.

it will never disappear.

darksky7d ago

The more they try to stop it, the more publicity it gets. The fact is that Yuzu will forever live on torrent and other sites. Nintendo is fighting an uphill battle.

Inverno7d ago

Another 8,500 will take their place. Smh

PRIMORDUS7d ago

There is nothing stopping these people from working on Yuzu clones and sharing them on torrent sites. Nintendo or anyone else cannot do shit about torrents or usenet.

lucasnooker7d ago

lol Nintendo keep fighting this but it never ends. Why do they feel the need to persist? I guess they are in too deep now they have to

Super Mario 64 DS: Remakes Done Right

Super Mario 64 DS was offered as a launch title for the Nintendo DS, a remake of the classic platform game with a few original tricks.

Chard9d ago

Not with those D-pad controls

CDbiggen8d ago

Needs more appreciation. I never had an N64 so this was what I played. Sure the Yoshi hat mechanic at first is a slog but you unlock Mario and the others for real and then it takes off. Personally I never had an issue with the controls. Can't forget the mini games and the 4 player rumble over download play.

kevco338d ago

Indeed, as stated in the article there were tonnes of control options and very much a 'take whatever you like, leave the rest' attitude to most of the game's extras.

Infinite Space: The Story Of A Forgotten Space Opera And Sega's Negligence

Space opera fans deserve a chance to experience the vastness of Infinite Space, and Sega needs to make up for its mistake.

ZeekQuattro17d ago

I still go back to Infinite Space from time to time. Probably the most underrated game I ever played.

CDbiggen17d ago

Felt like I was the only person who bought and played this lol
