The Swedish developer Southend Interactive is developing a new puzzle game for Xbox Live, called ilomilo. The cute duo Ilo and Milo are the stars of the charming video game, which mixes a childbook look with European art styles. Online multiplayer is back for 11 more games thanks to Insignia's XBL 1.0 replacement service running on Original Xbox consoles and the Xemu emulator on PC. Multiplayer, voice chat, leaderboards, etc. have been a monthly addition for many games from Xbox's past library thank to the team at Insignia.live! The 11 new games are now playable online once again after 13+ years.

On one hand, I agree with you, I don't even play mobile games anymore, but, on the other, there's a bigger chance of putting licensed titles there, like Captain Tsubasa lately, which would probably never come out on consoles, or only in Japan.
I remember how analysts and journalists were saying less than five years ago that mobile would give consoles a run for their money and eventually take over.

lol I remember the doom and gloom days when people were saying the mobile market would beat out handhelds and consoles... yea, sure looks that way.
well maybe eventually, older gamers arent just going to switch to mobile but kids seem to like mobile gaming.
there will always be a mobile game market but in no way will it overtake consoles.
