The Last Guardian Skipping 2010? Likely

GT: The rumored announcement of Team Ico's Blue-Ray collection might be hinting us to something rather obvious about The Last Guardian release date.

I remember a few months back that they said there's almost no chance for TLG to make a 2010 release. So this comes as no surprise to me.

shadow of collosus was released in october 2010 which means tlg is almost 5 years in development now. but it's no strange. team ico is small team. around 20 people worked on ico and around 30 on shadow of collosus

The Playstation 3 is a different beast and many developers have struggled with the hardware, while others have handled it very well. Given this is the teams first game on it it's no wonder they may need more time. Team Ico doesn't pump out games anyways and to me that's fine. The Last Guardian will be another masterpiece.

Mostly a trailer or some news on it at E3 was the most I was expecting. To much exclusives and little news about it to fit in fall 2010 calendar. Now with KZ3 most likely set for a release between feb-may we'll probably see it late summer or fall 2011. But hey if Ico and SoTC is going the same route as GOW, I can hold off, lot of exclusives will hold me down till then.

Ever since my 60GB broke and Sony replaced it with a Slim, I've been unable to play these two games. I wish it would come out this year, but I'm glad they're remastering those classics. So this is good and bad news to me.
