GameZone's Steven Hopper writes,
"The world of video games is no stranger to Naruto, a manga/anime franchise that presents a ninja-centric world of special ninjistu moves and powerful characters. Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3 represents the latest title in a long line of Naruto-based games released on a bevy of systems. Developed by CyberConnect2, the game certainly has the pedigree that fans will expect, and does a fine job of capturing the mood of the loved franchise."
To the casual observer, UNH3 might give the illusion of depth and variety. To the cynic, it feels like an awful lot of fluff without much in the way of gameplay substance. Sure, this latest dose of Naruto might keep you busy for a number of hours, fingers hammering at the PSP – but whether that time can be considered constantly entertaining is much more questionable.
CheatCC: Almost ten years ago, a spiky blonde Ninja named Naruto burst onto the scene and became an instant hit in both Japan and the US. Although, Naruto has become a staple in both the anime and video game world, enthusiasm for the series has cooled in recent years. However, that hasn't stopped the Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja franchise from forging ahead.
411mania: Naruto, the ever-popular children's anime series, has received its latest American video game release via Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3. As a person who doesn't follow the series at all, I can still recognize the merits of what the game does.
wow they still making these games?
hm...seems like a decent fighter too bad I dont have psp :)
6/10? Pretty fun to me. at least an 8 in my books
I never got into Naruto... neither the games, nor the anime.
Hmm, never wanted to play this series. Don't think my opinion is changing any time soon.
