Kombo writes: "Over the years, Nintendo has been best known for their big franchise characters, such as Mario, Link, Donkey Kong, Samus, and all those crazy Pokemon. Just about everybody that plays games today can point to a time when they enjoyed at least one game from Nintendo's pantheon of flagship mascots. What is also usually true, is that most people can also point to a great puzzle game or two that Nintendo either produced or was exclusive to a Nintendo console or handheld. Picross 3D aims to be another one of those memorable and addictive experiences that is both inviting to casual puzzle fans and engaging to hardcore puzzle freaks".

Game Informer - Time Sinks – Picross

Game Informer - When we started discussing a day-long feature for all of us to talk about games that chip away at our free time, I excitedly signed up for Picross. The Picross DS titles and the recently released Picross e on the 3DS eShop have all been the perfect examples of games that I will play “just one more” of until I have grown a beard and forgotten to eat for two days. All of that being said, however, I have no idea how to explain why these games are so fun and so difficult to put down.
