Otomedis Excellent Has NOT Been Confirmed For a US Release

GameStop has listed Otomedius Excellent as being released in September 2010. I have contacted Konami and they have denied the release date. Silicon Era and Hardcoregaming 101 has reported it.

Maximum Risky: Konami Boob Shooter DLC Short On Boobs

Otomedius Gorgeous!, Konami's cleavage-heavy entry in the Gradius spin-off series, gets something off its chest with new downloadable content.

The Xbox 360 port of the arcade original features three-player coop, the ability to upload and download replay data via Xbox LIVE, and a versus mode that lets the Otomedius girls take on bosses from previous Konami games. It also features lots of boobs.

Above is new character, Poinny, yours for 400 Microsoft Points. According to the character's bio, she has a "complex". Looking at her fellow Otomedius pilot, including new DLC character Esmeralda, it's not hard to see why.

Not everyone can have enormous breasts, you know. Not even video game characters, especially when they're ambiguous she-boys. That's just how it is.

Konami has been keeping Gradius series fans happy these past few years with releases like Gradius 5, the PSP Gradius Collection, and the recent Japanese WiiWare title, Gradius ReBirth. But things have gotten a little...bubblier in the new, currently Japan-only Xbox 360 shoot-em-up Otomedius Gorgeous! ("Otome" being the Japanese word for "young woman," and "-dius" being the suffix for any Gradius-inspired game.) Although the series is a spiritual sequel to Gradius, the Otomedius games are more in line with the Parodius series, which took the Gradius brand of shooting and put it in a world of complete cartoon wackiness.
