A new version of Metal Gear Solid is on the way to the PSP... sorta. As part of Sony's PlayStation Premier event today in Tokyo, Konami announced Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops +, an expansion to last year's Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops.
The new version of the game is focused on online play, with new stages and characters. However, Konami is also adding a mysterious new single player mode, Infinity Mission.
Two of Kojima Productions’ Metal Gear Solid titles for PlayStation Portable — Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops and Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Plus — are now available in North America for PlayStation Vita and PlayStation TV, publisher Konami has announced today.
Cool. Other than the old-school controls, in most ways Portable Ops was much better than Peace Walker
In NA with latest firmware on the PlayStation TV. The game won't start, saying it isn't supported. Lame.
I need MG Acid and Acid 2 for the vita like asap! Those games were soooo good and sooo underrated.

The story of the Metal Gear Solid is really complicated. Here are all the plot points from Portable Ops you need to know before playing Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
Kojima Productions has announced that today, on March 30, 2012, 18:00:00 (JST), the servers for Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops and Portable Ops Plus will be closed, making it no longer possible to play the PSP titles online.
whoa, is this E3 all over again for Sony? why in the world they didn't release that much information before. Perhaps because its targeted for the Japanese market.
I bought my psp for MGS PO and now they're adding to it, maybe I'm going to have to get this one too. I can't really complain though, I love MGS!
Perfect for rasing the pent up hype for MGS4!!
