Cliffy B: 'Masturbating' Gears 2 segments are a regret

CVG: Epic Games lead designer Cliff 'Cliffy B' Bleszinski has admitted slight regret over some easier areas of Gears Of War 2, which allow gamers to (metaphorically) "masturbate" as the title "plays itself".

I don't recall any of those moments, but then again I only played the campaign once.

I Think the whole gears multiplayer was broken

have you even played the game within the last year? probably not, like most of N4G you might have tried the game near launch and then traded it in for something else.

the only glitch i can think of is getting out of the map on subway.

As for the laggy games, its all up to who you play. you will get an occasional laggy game, less so if you game with people in your general area. Since i added so many people during the gears 1 days I have lots of people to play gears with that are close enough to me that lag is not a problem most of the time.

Agreed, I don't recall any segments that were overly easy. Maybe anyone that complained about it needed to bump up the difficulty.

I cant really remember the names they gave the difficulties but There wasnt much of challenge difference between hardcore and insane. Well as long as you had a co-op partner. My friend and I had finished the hardest setting on the release weekend. The only section that gave us any hassle at all was riding on the giant driving platform this that Dizzy drives. And trying to kill the brumak with the mounted gun. After that we flew through the rest of the game.
