The story seemed like a stock animé tale with all the conventional players – a vengeful outlaw with a tragic past, a bumbling loud-mouth who fights for truth and justice and even an intellectually incapacitated cat-woman whose desk would have been covered in drool had she ever attended school – and the roster, compared to other fighting games, appeared to be somewhat lacking. Look it isn't about the fans being of certain age, its about the franchise being good and selling well.
