Developer Profile: SUDA51 (Part 2)

No More Heroes arrived in the west in 2008, ten years after the formation of Grasshopper Manufacture. As a Wii exclusive release that eventually received an Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 port in Japan and the US – though yet to be released in European territories – No More Heroes casts players as the unlikely otaku hero Travis Touchdown, on a quest to become the number one ranked assassin. Actually Ryan Gosling makes a ton of sense.

Edit: If this can be done in a Scott Pilgrim movie kind of way that would be dope.

The more I think about it, the more I kinda want it to be a thing lol. Ryan Gosling would be awesome. He would need to play it less serious, but he's shown that he can be a goofball.

Ninja Gaiden 2 was never multiplat. NG Sigma 2 is a remixed game not the same game at all

Dante's inferno... such a great GoW inspired game. So sad the sequel was canned, it sounded like it was going to be even more epic than the first.

Vits277d ago

Yeap, classic GoW is still better mechanically. But the aesthetics and atmosphere of Dante's Inferno were just top-notch. Shame it never got a PC port, but at the very least is available on modern Xbox.

Juiceid277d ago

This list is ok, but Ninja Gaiden reigns supreme!

I just can’t get into the devil may cry series. In my opinion you never feel powerful in those games. The guns are pointless as they only serve to be a flashy part of a combo. DMC was the only one that I could tolerate long enough to beat.
