Price and download size revealed for Final Fantasy IX

Square Enix reveals the price and download size for the upcoming PSOne Classic release of Final Fantasy IX on the Japanese Playstation Store.

After losing hope of a FF7 remake I've purchased both FF7 n FF8 from the PS Store n they just didnt age well at all. I dont see why SE refuses to give us what we REALLY want and update these games ala GOW Colllection and sale them for $20 a pop on the PS Store. No distribution cost, no manufacturing cost should= a no brainer. But SE of latel seems to= no brains. Ah well

Still have my copy i won off the web (back in the day) as well a PS1. Far 2 many (new) games this year! (no complaints) Until that changes. (hope not) Won't be buying it. I'm up on Red Dead baby!

It's 10 dollars which is the same price for two other Final Fantasy titles on PSN.

The don't convert it. Everythings more expensive in Japan. For example FFXIII was ¥9,240 when it was first released. It's actually more than 15 dollars in Japan. It will 9.99 here just like FF8 and FF9. As 1500 yen is how much those FF7 and FF8 was in japan.

I loved FF XIII. I played it for 113 hours and now I want to play it again. It is far better than Fallout 3 and Mass Effect 2 as I wanted more FF XIII and I put down the other two and walked away.

It's just a matter of opinion. I loved Mass Effect 2, and Fallout 3 and wouldn't even compare FFXIII to them, but that's maybe because I'm tired of J-Pop and flamboyant or androgynous male characters in my rpgs.

I haven't downloaded PSone games on PSN yet. Are they an eyesore on HD televisions like when I play my PS2 games on my PS3? If they somehow made it so it won't look like crap on my tv I will definitely purchase this and FF Tactics. VI, IX, and XII are favorites here.

Yea, it looks like a great game to me (maybe not up the level of the classics but that is understandable). I am waiting for a cheap used copy due to all the new games that have been coming out.
