Halo 3 Four Player Co-op Strongly Hinted At by Microsoft Exec.

Major Nelson interviews MS corporate VP Jeff Bell. At the end of the interview (4:29 mins in), Jeff Bell talks on how he loves to play the previous Halo games in 2-player co-op, and that he is excited about Halo 3 because he can now play co-op with all three of his sons instead of one.

Gears of War was just about the perfect game, although I do agree that it would've been better if you were aloud to save multiple campaigns on one gamer account. Maybe they can include that in the sequel.

People only recently heard of Haze; designing 4 player co-op isn't something that could be developed in the short time since the Haze devs annouced it too. lol Sony fanboys get more ridiculous by the day.

Halo has had co-op so what if Halo has 4 player co-op i doubt it was implemented just in the last 2 or 3 months after Haze devs announced it lol. Haze got its look from old Halo novels(books). lol

4 player Co-Op would have been a Halo 3 idea first, AND in the other 2 you just play another Spartan, hopefully if they do allow 4 player co-op the games number of enemies and difficulty adjusts accordingly.

I think if it didn't have 4 player co-op Bungie would have said so by now, because everyone really expects it to, so they'd need to do damage control. But I think this is confirmation enough. I just hope it's implementation is aon par with Haze, we're you can also have a mix of split screen and system link, and still allow people to jump in (and out) at any point, during gameplay.

This should make it more challenging I hope. Legendary is going ot be tough. Now how will the game handle, lets say your playing on legendary with 4 people and 1 or 2 decides to quit or leave the game? Does the Computer take over, like it would in Gears, or are you assed out?

If true that would be sweeet for Halo3, I would be able to play through the campaign with my two cousins and my friend from back home, which would be awesome because we are all big Halo fans since the original back in the day,(a long, long, long time ago) I have great memories of us fighting each other about who's turn it is.....all the b!tchin 'n complaining, oh it was great I tell you.

I agree, every fps from now on should have co-op but CALL OF DUTY 4 didnt or wont confirm co-op of any sort. Thats some BS & I will save $60 by not purchasing an incomplete COD 4 game with no damn co-op!

They (droids) seem to think everything Halo is copying Haze, they all must be 10 and mom got them thier first console this year. 4 player coop goes back to arcades young ones and super armor soldiers go back to Metroid.
