Its using the Move. This game will be awesome

whateva5101d ago (Edited 5101d ago )

we know that the game is coming but this news isn't really new news.

sinncross5101d ago

I agree with you dude, this news was actually posted on the previous N4G design.

My only concern with Ape Escape PS3 is that it may not actually be Ape Escape 4. I hope its a main series (or a good spinoff) and not some random party title.

All these self-leak before E3; that means they have alot more secrets to show.

First SOCOM 4 at GDC (didn't expect that), then LBP 2 via Game Informer, and now..freaking Ape Escape!!? all big Sony franchises.

I miss this game since dual shock was first put on the PS1! It was so weird to use both anologs at the time, now since I'm older it's gunna be a blast from the past!

SoapShoes5101d ago

Since if it's released in Q2 or Q3, the Move won't be out yet.

HolyOrangeCows5101d ago

SOCOM 4 and Ape Escape. Sweet.

Now announce an exclusive star wars game for the move.....please?

Score one for platformers. Uh, providing it does stay a platformer and doesn't revert into a minigame fest.

supersonicsaga5101d ago

Natsu X FairyTail5101d ago (Edited 5101d ago )

EDIT @ XABMOL:

You are right! You made me remember that mode was in mgs3. It slipped out of my mind completely.

PS Plus' Japanese PS1 Classics on the PS4 & PS5 are NTSC Versions

The PlayStation Brahs:

"After controversy hit the launch of the all-new PS Plus launch due to PAL versions of PS1 classics being used, Sony has done right in Japan by using the NTSC versions of their old school games."

If you're in Japan... unfortunately most of us are in the US or Europe.

Orchard695d ago (Edited 695d ago )

Unfortunately it looks like this still won't be the case for the US: https://twitter.com/the_mar...

The reason the JP one is NTSC is because it's the only version of the original which has Japanese localization. Other NTSC regions are still getting PAL games.

Still time for Sony to correct this ahead of the US launch though - keep up the pressure.

Christopher695d ago

I'll wait and see since the primary reason for other regions is the language support. The U.S. doesn't need the same language support as other regions. You could be right, but it's a wait-and-see game.

Orchard695d ago

Agreed. It's a wait and see game at this point. US could go either way, Europe is likely stuck with PAL, at least outside of the UK (although I assume Sony will blast the same version to all European stores).

I think he's basing his assumption on the US around the fact that in Asian regions where PS+ has launched where titles were not localized and were provided in English, they have defaulted to the PAL version. But one would assume that NTSC is the 'native' version for North America.

To be honest, it would be nice if they would just upload multiple versions & let us download the version we want. It's weird that this is even a problem. Also, for Europe, plenty of Europeans are good enough or fluent in English and may not care about localization, especially if it means sacrificing performance/responsiveness.

"Still time for Sony to correct this ahead of the US launch though - keep up the pressure."

Unless Sony themselves (not a twitter user with 400 followers) confirm PAL versions for NA, then there is nothing to correct and no need to keep up any pressure. Premature outrage is a bad look.

Its contstant and annoying. Its litterly killing gaming for me and I think thats the intended effect.
