The tournament games are a strange addition to the FIFA library. The ability to reproduce and create your own World Cup in FIFA 10 would seemingly negate the need to buy the official game, if you’ve already invested in the annual addition to the series. With a bit of work, you can update the squads to match the teams that will appear in South Africa, and the gameplay remains largely the same. There’s an argument that developers take this opportunity to improve the game, but this is not apparent in 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa.
