Gametactics reviewer Demitrius Berkley-Thomas checks out Lord of Ultima, made by EA’s Phenomic Studio, is a browser-based free to play MMO RTS that throws players into a broken land with a fresh city. The story here is that the old world, Sosaria, was destroyed and shattered and that a new world across the ocean, Caledonia, is where civilization will be rebuilt. Players will gather resources to build up their cities, their armies and create alliances to dominate enemies or create markets and harbors to trade with people across the continent. There are dungeons to be explored and raided and dragons to be defeated for powerful artifacts and treasure. Player’s interaction with each other is also an important part of the game play.
By now you’re probably sick and tired of hearing about all these lists of “the best free to play MMO games” and up-and-coming MMO’s that are taking the market by storm. After all these years, every single MMO seems to have coalesced into more-or-less the same game with slightly different art and mechanics. More than likely you don’t want to hear more of the same, so the list below will feature some highly innovative MMO’s that also happen to be free-to-play. Since there’s a great deal of free MMO’s out there, only the best free to play MMO games 2013-2014 will be included.
lol....tera is the only good game on there

Originally developed by EA Phenmoic but later taken under the wings of Aeria Games, Lord of Ultima has never been on the biggest popularity lists for the MMORTS genre and that’s proven fatal with the announced upcoming closure.
EA today announced that its two free-to-play MMOs, Command & Conquer: Tiberium Alliances and Lord of Ultima, has been fully localized into Arabic and are now available to play.
