Examiner.com writes, "Today, new details about the system have been released. With the new Advanced Pet System, players will be able to use their pets in duels, breed them in the Hatchery to combine genetic talents and traits, and participate in mini-games to train them from hatchlings to adults. Pets will also be able to participate in the Pet Derby, a special set of race courses where pets can run, swim, dodge obstacles, and try to slip up their opponents on their way to victory.
The new system is live on Wizard101's Test Realm, and there's also a giveaway few new Gobbler pets.
