Eurogamer: Download Games Roundup

At a time when there are few so-called 'triple A' boxed releases to get excited about, it seems like the opposite is true in the burgeoning download space. About 15 games of note were sifted through for inclusion this week, from cute indie experiments to former boxed product being repurposed for the download channels. While a lot of them are admittedly nothing more than neat ideas chucked out for pennies, it's surprising to see how many of them, like Lazy Raiders and Aqua Panic, offer countless hours of gameplay for little more than the cost of your lunch.

STP: Lazy Raiders Review

STP: When you were a kid, did you ever make your body go limp so that your mother was forced to literally drag your carcass onto the school bus? You hoped that resisting would cause the whole system to give up on you, but it never happened, did it? Prodding Dr Diggabone into action with Lazy Raiders might bring back some memories, though playing the game is fun, which is more than we can say for your mother’s attempts to get you on your feet.

For those of you that don’t, you should know that Aqua Panic! tasks you with the objective of safely guiding one-hundred hapless fish (per level) from the top of the screen to the bottom, while avoiding various predators along the way, and ensuring that the fish end up in a safe area marked by two flags upon their return to the ocean. Developed by Bulkypix and Eko Software, Aqua Panic! was originally released for Nintendo DS and PSP earlier in the year, and has now found its way to the iOS devices, including the iPad."
