RealGamer: BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger Review

Blazblue is a 2D fighting game which takes much more of a casual approach than other games in the genre. The game allows you to take control of twelve different fighters and pit them against each other in a Street Fighter type arena. First things first, BlazBlue is a typical Japanese style 2D fighting game. With characters sporting the typical anime/manga style, as are the various characters stories. This means that there is a chance you will have no idea as to what is going on and not much will make sense!

the reviewer must be on crack or something. It's one of the best fighting games I've ever played.

BB is one of the best Fighting Games. Its way better then Turtle Fighter 4. Its also definitly NOT for Casuals.

WTF ? How is BB a casual game ?

Strange story , when its so developped unlike well pretty much every fighting games ? I want him to even try finishing the arcade or story modes with button mashing .

what what ???
the stories are very easy to understand if you use your brain a little ..Except the crazy path ( mecha tiger ..lool ) i pretty much knew what was going on ..thanks to the teach me litchi sensei THAT EVEN explain the world of blazblue in futher detail ..it's actually one of the few fighters that have a intresting story to follow

as for the voice work , i dunno about the enligh VA but the japense one was perfect .

how the game is casual when you have sooo many techniques ,like attack cancel barrier cancel , counter attack atvantages and so many variantes( not even counting characters like carl that need some serious learning to play properly online .. )

One of teh most fail review of a fighting game i ever read

"for some reason rounds being called rebels which I just couldn’t understand."
STory man ..don't skip it idiot ..i was wondering that too i first ..and then i just played the story ..eveer wondered why the wheel of fate is turning ? ever wondered why they are "rebels" ? you're such a moron you probably didn't even understand most of rachel story or failed to undestand litchi true end ...

a garbage review no doubt not because of the note ...but because of the review itself

BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger PC Review | RGN

DJ Killzown Jones of RGN writes, "BlazBlue Calamity Trigger is still a solid fighter that PC fighting game fans should pick up . It is a bit of a disappointment that long load times of the games original release are still present and the games sequels aren’t offered as expansions/add on’s but these things alone should shy away games that haven’t played the game or others who are returning to the series."
