PS3Attitude: Earth Defense is the latest add-on for ZEN Pinball. Unlike the Street Fighter II and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 pinball tables, Earth Defense is not based on a popular video game franchise.
We enjoyed ZEN Pinball when it was originally released a year ago but is the Earth Defense table worth buying?

I don't know if it's the giant robot on the table, the fact that you're trying to defend earth from invading space robots or that when you have a ball save the giant robot fires out the ball at you, I just know this is one of my favorite tables in the game. As I mentioned the goal is to prevent the robots from invading Earth so you have challenges to hit certain parts of the table to fight back against the robots, attempt to sabotage them and save humans. The table will give you a great challenge as you attempt to master it. If you own Zen Pinball, you really should have this table."

Zen Pinball: Earth Defense is not a translation of the game, it's a total simulation with a themed table. While mainly an inbetween title, Zen Pinball: Earth Defense provides a more relaxing gameplay than other titles on the PlayStation 3. Though for most people, it's not something that they will actively search for, but Zen Pinball: Earth Defense has another area of gaming that shouldn't be ignored.
