The Thoughts Behind Miranda's Behind in Mass Effect 2

Tracey John for Kotaku: "Aside from the lack of homosexual characters, I had the chance to ask Mass Effect 2 project lead Casey Hudson at last month's GDC about one thing my friends (both male and female) and I have noticed when we first got the game: Miranda's ridiculously tight outfit."

Cry me a river that there is no GAY related relationships in this superb game. Kudos Bioware...

That article is not worth even being used as TP!

While the game was obviously catered towards a male audience (that's the target demographic), I definitely think the option for a homosexual relationships should be in the next game. If only to appease the people who want to go down that route. After all, if you don't want to start a homosexual relationship, you don't have to. So why not include them anyway? It won't upset anybody who isn't interested in them. It'd help balance the next game out so no fan feels left out.

The game is really made with the male heterosexual in mind. You could accept this and move on or you could force Bioware to lie to you. I love the game by the way, and appreciated that their put the camera where I wanted it to focus. Miranda is very hot. That a$$ is one of the best in gaming, and she also has a sexual face with perfect boobs. I am replaying the game just to make sure my shepherd gets to tap the oil in that well.

I dont get that argument , if they dont want to , they dont have to .

Just because they give you story based choices doesnt mean they have to include every kind of choices . Nor do they design a game to "appease" categories of people .

Dragon age gives you the option , and actually goes way further into romance . And even then people complained they couldnt romance every same sex companions . As if somehow , every character was supposed to be designed as Bi .

With ME2 it is clear they designed it as very light on the romance , and with the hetero male lambda as the demo target .

I wish there were more T&A games on PS3 :\

I admit - I would perve a little if it every got ported from 360 and PC :)

Baka-akaB5144d ago

there isnt even any T&A per se . You didnt go that far in ME1 , and now go even less in ME2 .

You basic hookup is some flirtation then a let's get together before the big mission in case we die . And even then it's no softcore vid .

It's more tame than the usual love scens in most movies

Corrwin5144d ago

Sure it's tame, it's not the sex I'm after, but the Tits and Ass.

I just like me games filled with fetish fuel, not outright orgies :)

There are no lesbians in this game? Eh, I'm not getting it anymore. I wanted to play as a female shepard.

Loved Alpha Protocol in all it's glorious jank. Great game.

SimpleSlave32d ago (Edited 32d ago )

Not only glorious jank, but the idea that the story can completely change depending on what you do, or say, or side with, makes it one of the most forward thinking games ever. The amount of story permutation is the equivalent of a Hitman level but in Story Form. And it wasn't just that the story changed, no, it was that you met completely new characters, or missed them, depending on your choices. Made Mass Effect feel static in comparison.

Alpha Protocol was absolutely glorious, indeed. And it was, and still is, more Next Gen than most anything out there these days. In this regard at least.

Pity.
