If there were multiple maps, a story, power-ups – anything – Legend of Kunoichi might have at least been decent, but as it stands with its next-to-nothing content and slow gameplay, this is a shining example of what is wrong with Minis.
Ian Fisher writes: Early last month some interesting trademarks surfaced from Sony for some unannounced PSP/PS3 games, the most notable of which was Legend of Kunoichi. Back then we really didn't have much to go on as to what the games were about but thanks to the ESRB spilling the beans early we now have a better idea of what Sony is cooking up.
Now the one thing I found to be the most interesting about all of these games, which admittedly are a bit on the casual side, is that they involve players moving or making some sort of motion. Thus, I believe these are the first batch of 1st party Arc games to be released at launch
Heavy Rain is patch to support "ARC," then I will be buying one of these add-ons. Heavy Rain will probable be cool with ARC
Seriously. Legend of Kunoichi is an upcoming PSP and PlayStation 3 game where ninjas jump out of mats and players throw hammers at them. The ESRB, which leaked the title, compared it to "whack-a-mole" with grunting ninjas.
We first heard about Legend of Kunoichi last month along with three other Sony Computer Entertainment America titles from trademark research. Now we know what Earthshield, Digi-Tiles, and Smashbreak are too. Descriptions of each game follow.
Are you kidding me? Is this the same ninja game that was rumored to be coming to PS3? I was hoping it was something along the lines of Shinobi or Ninja Gaiden, not some whack-a-mole game. Sounds like a PSN title.
Outside of Sony's heavy hitting first quarter lineup, what else does the publisher have planned for 2010? Four trademarks found by Siliconera offer clues. One points to a ninja game.
Sony Computer Entertainment filed paperwork for Legend of Kunoichi in the US, which sounds like the name of an upcoming ninja game. Probably not a sequel to Sega's Kunoichi aka Nightshade outside of Japan. The three other trademarks are more quizzical.
Many, many months ago, the rumor mongers were kicking around the notion Sony was in the process of developing a ninja game called "Silhouette". I absolutely adore feudal, medievil Japan and welcome any game inspired by it. I wouldn't mind seeing KOEI make a remake of Inindo: Way of the Ninja for that matter.
a game about a female Ninja hopefully they'll do a good job on it,i remember when Sony owned Tenchu back in the Ps1 days,it was an awesome game the ip had so much potential but it got ruined,i wonder why Sony sold it?
