Splinter Cell Conviction launched with Limited Edition Xbox 360 console

Coming exclusively to Xbox 360, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction, hits stores on April 15 and to celebrate Xbox is releasing a limited edition console. The bundle, available at EB Games, features an Xbox 360 Elite, two black wireless controllers, a 250GB hard drive, headset, a copy of Splinter Cell Conviction and a bonus copy of the game, Splinter Cell Double Agent.

Microsoft seems to bring out the big hits with all these AAA release special edition consoles. Freakin awesome IMO.

Plus can't wait for SC:C, been dying for it...

They are very smart with bundling all the big hits. $400 is expensive though. The $299 one is just fine, and it comes with ODST and Forza.

I still remember getting the Resident Evil 5 Red system bundle. I couldnt believe they just gave the game away free (with SF HD Remix).

I got the Elite Spring Bundle. It's a great console. LIVE is great and Halo is still the crown achievement in MP games this gen. Can't wait for Reach. I don't want to pay for LIVE though. There may be a price drop in the summer so maybe u shud wait.

Halo was the only reason I bought the 360, so you better have a good list of exclusives to justify the purchase. The thing with me is that Halo is such a great game that it will easily take up hundreds of hours of playtime. I know now why Halo is still active, it's simply that great of a game. Maybe ill check out other exclusives in the future, but im not particularly interested at the moment. Reach, TLG, Demon's Souls 2, TMB2, and Killzone 3 is my 2010 wishlist.

I got the Elite Spring Bundle on March 18, 2010 & i love it but i won't call Halo "crown achievement in MP games this gen" that COD & Battlefield & Killzone 2. sure Halo has a good online but what make Halo special is the story mode but from watching Halo Reach videos i can tell you it will get it's crown back that for sure.

Also the Splinter Cell bundle is not worth it because if they drop the one controller & add 12 months of Xbox Live then yeah i can buy it.

I think that CoD4 was a great game, but still lacked the support and features of Halo. You couldnt do split screen online, the modes were rarely updated, and IW didn't support the game too much at all (which foreshadows MW2 btw). Bad Company 2 is great, but nowhere near a BF game: 24 players is too low, especially with MAG doing 256 and PC doing 32. Additionally, they ruined Conquest mode (luckily its getting tweaked). Again, it still doesn't have the features Halo does. As for Killzone 2, the graphics are great, but everything else is standard. I love K2, but once again, lacks any sort of great features-- Clan support was amazing, but cheaters dominated the leaderboards.

Now, I love all the games you mentioned, but I think what makes Halo the "crown achievement" this gen is dependent on : who supports their game the most, which one sold the best (in relation to exclusivity), which one is still actively played, which one has the most features, and which one receives the best scores. Halo 3 and Bungie checks all of that.

Not saying everyone has to love Halo and accept it, but I think nobody has come close to what Bungie has made. IW seem to be capable, but they are lazy and greedy as hell.

I got an elite yesterday just to play this game. I thought damn, I knew I should have waited, but honestly, I wouldnt have bought it for that price, way to much.

I got a good deal, I'm happy.

My tip: Get Mass Effect 2. Install both discs. Enjoy the best RPG this gen, imo, with more or less no loading times at all :)

Yeah i know bathyj, you get two great games plus Halo 3 online which is not so bad but $100 more for a console & 130gb more is kinda not the best deal but if they make the Splinter Cell bundle $350 & bring one controller & 250gb & the special edition 360 with Splinter Cell game then it can sell alot or take out the controller & add the Xbox live, it will sell like hot cakes.

also i can careless what PS3fanboy think of me, i'm a hardcore gamer that enjoy video games on any console beside the Wii & PC :(.

um the only thing MS hasnt made a bundle for is barbie.

they've made a bundle with every game that has come out since resident evil 5, they wont stop and sadly these bundles dont even boost their sales, i work at game crazy and the only ones buying these bundles r 360 fans that want to part with their normal one for a limited one thats all
