GameSpot's Most Anticipated Games for E3 2007

E3 2007 is still a big show, with a lot of very exciting titles on display. GameSpot's gone ahead and listed some of their most anticipated games there.

How do they expect anyone to take a list like that serious when Killzone 2 is missing.
We have seen so much from the other games and KZ2 is by far the game most people are looking forward to seeing. Even Xbots who of course hope will suck.

Agreed, one the biggest things I'm waiting for is KZ2 gameplay to see if it meets the expectations or not.

Killzone 2 has been in complete lock down for the past 2 years.
How can it not make the most anticipated list especially after the controversy of the E3 2005 trailer.

Great franchises like Halo and R&C are still going to be great - unless the developers have a sudden brain freeze - because they have everything perfected already(gameplay, graphics, audio, weaponry & vehicles, story & characters etc). They are NOT going to be SIGNIFICANTLY better than previous versions.

Killzone 2 can be. The original game was average with obvious flaws(graphic glitches, repetitive gameplay, bad physics & AI) on an underpowered console. If the developers put the time, money and work into KZ2 then it should logically be better - significantly. And if you haven't heard already, that's exactly what Sony has done - on a very powerful console.

KZ2 should have been at the top of the list to silence all critics once and for all - or not.

Suspiciously, Gamespot has avoided or not accepted the obvious. Hmmmmmmm?

Bring on E3.

Those crazy cats over at GameSpot have already had some hands on play of Rock Band so it's good to see it still made it into their list.

They probably now about some of unannounced titles. Assassins Creed, Fallout3, Bioshock, Ratchet & Clank TOD, Mortal Kombat 8 and Killzone 2 are my most anticipated titles.

if it is the GS list then ofcourse HALO 3 would top the chart since it is owned by CNET and any subpar x360 game also gets 9.0+ over there

i agree that killzone 2 COULD be on that list, but i ask you, on what basis? I will even say the last game was good, but you just base it on a trailer?

Halo and GTA are definetly the most anticipated games, look at the previous sales of halo 1 and 2. Im not even saying for the sake of argument they are a good games, though i do like halo. And GTA hype has been building for a while. So why wouldn't they be the most anticipated?

Halo 3 hype has been building for a while, not killzone 2, though that could change.

Ask the average person about the gmaes on this list including killzone, and they wont really know any of them aside from halo and GTA4.

As for GS site maybe it is though i would like to hear a more valid source saying so than some fanboy, so get over it bro, Sony has biased sites like sony protection group and people try to post that stuff.

But anyways, hopefully killzone 2 is good. But hey, couldn't it be just another FPS with really great graphics?

With halo, you like it or hate it because you know what you are getting. Its kind of a good thing and a bad thing at the same time.

if you look at the list the list seem fairly accurate though i am surprised FF isn't on that.

But they still have MGS4 Ratchet and clank and LBP.

I believe they said that FFXIII wont be on E3. Also the thing about Killzone 2 is that this is the list of "Most anticipated" not "The Best" and we all know that everyone from PS3 fans to Xbox360 fans and even Wii and PC users are anticipating Sony's Killzone event to see how is the actual game and that should make it one of the most anticipated games of E3. At least thats my opinion and I agree that most of Killzone talk is based on a single trailer and not much more beyond that (OK Killzone Liberation was good).

They didn't put FFXIII in their list because it wont be in E3 (EGM or something was the source) and a game like Gran Turismo 5 is too big to be overlooked so seeing that they didn't count it leads to some speculation that GT5 wont be at E3. I hope this is wrong and we see all those great games in E3.
