GR:
Video games are distilled magic. They're able to transport us to far off places and let us play inside the worlds their creators have imagined for us. But before all of this newfangled technology took over, there was another way to escape into the realm of the fantastical: they're called books, and they're kind of important.
i am dying for a next gen Parasite Eve! This serie has so much potential..
One of my favorite of all time (on PS1).
I loved Heavenly Sword, it was the first game I bought for my PS3 and although it was short, it was great. I can't wait to see what they with this game.
I never played HS obviously, so I have nothing to gauge the quality of gameplay by. I do hope it is strong in that area and that it matches the personalities portrayed in the stories. What I mean by that is: Some game stories have the protagonist come off as this strong Rambo type, then when you fight you don't feel powerful, and the kills you get feel cheap. The game play should give you the speed and power, but also give your opponents enough power to give a formidable challenge. If you are and average joe like say "Alan Wake" you should need to figure out how to use what's around you to defeat the more powerful foes (The player here must feel that since of being over matched and be fearful of the more powerful foes).
Agree? Disagree? Your choice.
