Hot on the heels of news that EA is working on a "number of projects for delivering premium content to consumers before, during, and after the launch of a packaged-goods version of the game", the producer on the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of upcoming football title 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa has told VideoGamer.com that EA is "not interested" in making money from downloadable content for the game.
In recent months EA has ramped up the online integration of its games, selling premium downloadable content for games like Mass Effect 2, Dragon Age: Origins, and Battlefield: Bad Company 2.
The guys at FIFA Insider take a look at DLC and how it fits FIFA's yearly model.
With the 2010 FIFA World Cup in full-swing on televisions around the globe we here at PlanetXbox360.com figured now was a better time than ever to dive into the top 10 goals ever scored in the sport of video game soccer (via an expansive YouTube search). This is something we have always been entertained by as there is nothing better than seeing a real-life soccer player put the ball into the net in the most amazing way imaginable. A couple goals from the 2010 World Cup already stand-out in our minds as having the ability to show people exactly why soccer is the most-popular sport on the planet (for examples watch the USA or Portugal matches). Because EA Sports has been doing a FIFA soccer game for decades now it comes as no surprise that the internet is full of videos claiming to be the "best and most amazing goal ever" - as journalists it was of course our job to do the dirty-work and figure out exactly which ones were good enough to make the top 10 list (with videos).
the best goal of all time goes to andres escobar on the own goal against USA 1994.

May very well be the worst top 10 list I've ever read, just check out EA's official videos. Such as: http://www.youtube.com/watc...

Multiplayer: The PSP version of the game "FIFA World Cup South Africa 2010" is presented as a product with limited appeal, conditioned by a series of flaws that undermine the gameplay both Online and Offline.
...and in other news, hell froze over today as EA turned out an opportunity to make money.
HAHA. That is too funny, EA. Sureeeee you don't want to make more coin.
at the end of the day they're a business with an objective to make money.
