GamerZines: The president of Sega West has hinted at a plethora of new sequels currently being considered after the successes the publisher has experienced over the recent year.
Bayonetta, Alien vs Predator and Alpha Protocol were all talked about as franchises which Mike Hayes would wish to continue during a candid interview with CVG. One particularly mention caught our eye though, Total War.
BLG writes: "I don’t think it’s a stretch to say that the Total War series features some of the best strategy games ever made. And yet, not all Total War games were created equally. None of these games are necessarily bad but some are definitely better than others. Much better. With that in mind, I decided to take a look at all the Total War games released so far and attempt to rank them all from worst to best. "
KeenGamer: "PC gaming has a wealth of mods that can completely change a gaming experience. Check out the Top 5 PC mods that change the game. Mods can improve a game, add quality of life improvements or give you a brand new gaming experience and these mods can support games over 20 years after their initial release. These experiences can rival many AAA titles and are extremely deserving of your time."
It’s Total War Week at the Humble Store. Games in the popular strategy franchise are up to 75 percent off.
I was really hoping they'd circle back to their first game and make a Shogun 2: Total War.
that would be frickin awesome!
I don't see how an MMO could possibly work for this game. They should just do WW1 era next. Massive advantage to trenched defenders in that time might actually balance the game properly. It's far too easy to conquer everything in TW games.
Then loop back around to Shogun. WW2 doesn't suite the play style. Also they should make the campaign map real time in the way Hearts of Iron/Europa Universalis are. Would make the perfect combination imo.
