I signed up for the e-mail promos got a 500gb 7200rpm double platter internal laptop HDD with 16 magabytes cache for my ps3 for under $90 with free shipping.

Sadly, the weather hasn't allowed the UPS driver access and I haven't received it yet. This weather hasn't let up since Christmas. I still have stuff I bought before Christmas that I haven't received. Not neweggs fault though.

If your interested in Neweggs best deals don't wait for some deals site to tell you just sign up to Neweggs mailer.

I got my 320 gb 2.5 western digital blue from Dell 2 months ago for $48 including tax and shipping during a sale. But I guess it is a 7200rpm. But I'm just using mine in a usb enclosure so it doesn't really matter.

There should be a line near the top that says "never miss another deal" with a subscribe button beside it. Just put your e-mail in there and make sure to check your mail to move it to a non-spam folder.

This is the only company I like getting e-mail from because they have good deals and great service.

The Laser: Geometry Wars Galaxies Review

The Laser writes: "This isn't the deepest game on Wii, but it's classic gameplay mechanics, simple graphics an intense pacing make for an invigorating change of pace from the usual fare. The complete, nonlinear original is included, but Geometry Wars Galaxies goes a step further with an extended mission mode where you can use a drone with special abilities, unlock additional levels and earn some fairly impressive high scores. It's pick up and play approach makes it simple to learn, but the high level of difficulty make it anything but condescending to casual players. Wii owners will discover that Geometry Wars remains an challenging game and with an incredibly high replay value."

Edge Interview: Small and simple

Edge writes: "When Kuju decided to rebrand its studios, each had to choose a focus. Guildford- based Doublesix, named after the dice roll giving you another go, chose digital downloads for console and PC. Having, prior to rebranding, previously produced boxed title Geometry Wars Galaxies for Wii, the first game under its new moniker will be Burn, Zombie, Burn, an arena-based score-attack shooter. With a South Park project kept tightly under wraps, creative director Jim Mummery tells us what comes next."
