High Voltage Software is well known for their Wii game, "The Conduit," Although receiving mixed reviews and having mediocre sales, the game's developer, High Voltage Software , and the game publisher, SEGA, have repeatedly said that they have been happy with the game performance. But has the game performed well enough for a sequel? Well there have been multiple claims the a poster advertising the games sequel was at the HVS booth during GDC.
"...[B]ut what caught my eye was that in the demo room there was a poster on the back wall. And on the poster, in a Conduit-esque font, was a giant 2. No date, no title, just the 2."
There’s a consensus about Splatoon 1 that cannot be disputed: motion controls are the way to play. The Wii U Gamepad had its many problems on the system as a whole, but along with the way in which the touch screen was implemented in the first game like I mentioned in my last piece, using the Gamepad’s gyroscope was deemed a superior way to play compared to traditional joystick control.
Rustyshell.com: The Conduit strived to be the quality FPS experience Wii owners were missing out on, with quality graphics and a robust online multiplayer component.
Hardcore Gamer: The Conduit was an interesting first-person shooter that sneaked its way onto the Wii amid a deluge of shovelware and "family" games.

yes g4, you know whats best for Sega, if they are happy with the sales it means nothing,
Conduit is on my list of Third Party Games to get for Wii. I just haven't heard much off of people about how good it is, I'm not a HUGE fan of reviews and I much prefer getting info about games through word of mouth.
CONDUIT HAS VERY GOOD SALES FOR A NEW IP FULL STOP U GUYS ARE SO NEGATIVE I CAN TELL U KNOW THAT THE WII EVEN FOR ULTRA HIGH END TITLES IS CHEAP TO DEVELOP FOR SO ILL SAY THAT THE CONDUIT COST ABOUT 8-10 MILLION AND THEY HAVE SOLD 350,000 PLUS THAT HAS DONE BETTER THAN ALOT OF 360/PS3 GAMES AS OF LATE DARK VOID ECT PLUS THE CONDUIT WILL KEEP SELLING GOOD I THINK IT WILL BRING IN 15 MILLION IN TOTAL SALES THATS WORTH DOING ANOTHER CONDUIT IF U ASK ME BUT MUCH HIGHER QUALITY BIG MARKETING CAMPAIN AND IT WILL SELL I MILLION PLUS IN ITS FIRST 6 MONTHS EVEN IN 3 MONTHS IT COMES DOWN TO HIGH PRODUCTION VALUES AND GOOD MARKETING FULL STOP LET THE WORLD SEE YOUR EFFORTS BUT MAKE SURE THEM EFFORTS ARE WELL WORTH IT AND DONT FORGET DEVS/PUBS AT GDC2010 NINTENDO SAID THE GAMECUBE HAD A BIGGER FILL RATE THAN ORIGINAL XBOX SO WHY ARE HIGH VOLTAGE OR ANY ONE FOR THAT MATTER PRETENDING THE WII CANT DO POLYGONS WHEN ITS SOMETHING TH WII EXCELS AT GAMECUBE DID 40 MILLION POLYGONS WITH FULL TEXTURE SUPPORT FOR RE4 NOW THE WII COULD DO AND ITS GOING OFF FACTOR 5 AND RETRO STIDIOS COMMENTS OVER THE YEARS IS THAT THE WII IS ABOUT 3 TIMES THE GAMECUBE IN THESE AREAS SO TRY 150 MILLION POLYGONS WITH FULL TEXTURE SUPPORT AT 60 FPS THAT IS WHATS POSSIBLE ON WII TO THINK GAMES LIKE SAINTS ROW ON 360 HAS 6000 POLYGONS ON CHARACTERS RE4 HAD 10000 POLYGONS AND THAT WAS GAMECUBE PLUS THAT GAME WAS 60FPS SAINTS ROW IS 30FPS SO IF THEY WERE TO REDO RE4 ON CUBE AT 30 FPS IT WOULD OUTDO RE5 BY SMALL MARGIN IN TERMS OF GRAPHICS THE SHIPS IN ROGUE SQUADRON 3 HAS 30,000 POLYGONS ECT ITS A JOKE THAT THE GAMECUBE DID THE MOST POLYGONS IT PUSHED THE TEXTURES ASWELL AS THE FRAME RATES SO THE WII COULD DO SOME VERY VERY NICE GRAPHICS
The game is preety good and last i heard the game was about 700th which is preety good for a new ip on a consul that has trouble selling games to the core gamer.I still think its the best looking wii game to date and the story isn't to bad if you look for it in the game.
I hope the second game manages to pull me in more than the first game did, because sadly, the first game never impressed me too much with it's level design, story, gameplay & multiplayer. Which is sad because I was a HUGE supporter of the game before it was released. And I'm hoping they don't turn it into a topdown shooter like they did with the HD versions of The Grinder.
