THQ's head of communications Huw Beynon has told VG247 that Metro 2033 will be setting a graphical standard on 360 that hasn't been "done before".
His quotes come as it was said recently by the company the game on 360 would reach a new graphical benchmark for consoles.
Metro 2033 mechanics that would adapt perfectly to VR, and the upcoming Metro Awakening by Vertigo Games this year.
The Metro video game series started with a humble b-list title, before building a strong fanbase and becoming a pioneer in the industry.
If you're a fan of the Stalker or Metro 2033 games, Chernobylite is absolutely an experience that you don't want to miss out on.
I'm sold on it big time. I love the metro games and to me this is very much in that wheelhouse. It was very impressive technically as well.
This has got to be a joke, the graphics are far from raising the bar, sloppy animation, poor voice acting and the controls are pretty poor too.the game is a letdown if im honest, its got a slightly cool atmosphere but many niggles that spoil the over all experience.im half way through and pretty unimpresed from what i thought it would be like..an honest 6.5/10…worth a play through once..oh yeah, terrible difficulty spikes too.DO NOT PAY FULL PRICE…you will feel ripped off as the game feels unfinished.
Ha what? Didnt they even say the port was done very quickly and they didnt even push the 360 hardware? 360 has plenty of games that look better than this.
I'm sure Metro is great (I'll be buying it on the PC when I get around to it) but it's hardly a game I'd use to brag about 360s visuals.
I know in PR you "talk it up", but c'mon now.
While I believe there are better games to show the 360's power, Metro 2033 is by no means bad or ugly by any standards. The graphics are pretty good, actually, if you've ACTUALLY played it *hint* *hint* Fangblade.
What is it about graphics that's so important these days? When I read the title, I expected to hear about some new gameplay mechanic or plot development that we haven't seen before. I want to hear about what this game will do different than Fallout, Bioshock or Brink (for example). Not how its graphics are "supposedly" better than game 'XXX'.
