Today Bethesda has announced they are publishing a brand new RPG for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 called Hunted: The Demon's Forge. VGChartz had the privilege of sitting down with the developers for an extensive first look at the game at GDC last week. Read below for a first look at this interesting new cooperative based RPG.
As we know action games don't tend to have a lot of replay value. Hunted appears to be trying to break that mold with their new mode The Crucible. With this mode as you can see in the video below, players get to create their own dungeon crawls, customizing everything even the enemies. To create them it also cost money, meaning you will have to build up your cash while playing campaign and it will actually reward you for doing so because the more money you have the more vast your dungeon can become.
GameDynamo - "Who in their right mind would go dungeon crawling alone? No matter how many arrows you have in your quiver or swords strapped to your armor, strength comes in numbers. Knowing this, inXile Entertainment and Bethesda Softworks are putting their final touches on Hunted: The Demon’s Forge to give you and a buddy a fighting chance against all those creepy things that go bump in the night."
InXile Entertainment CEO, Brian Fargo, talks to IncGamers about the recent reveal of Hunted: The Devil's Forge, as well as the reason the game has been kept under wraps for so long.
Great to see Bethesda still branching out more. They are quickly becoming one of my favorite publishers.
Niice! Cant wait to see how this turns out.
An RPG built for co-op is a great concept, I hope it's pulled off with aplomb.
Um, yea, this game looks badass
Another big hit for Bethesda?
