Fighting giant aliens in walking tanks is an idea frequently revisited within the science-fiction community. Just look at a large part of popular anime, Starship Troopers, Aliens - there are myriad examples. With games, such an idea seems popular since gamers tend to accept that any semblance of plot, character, or logic can be shoved out the door in favor of flashy graphics and the ability to detonate satisfyingly sizable amount of explosives. Lost Planet adheres to such a notion.
Resident Evil 2 2019 launches in a few short weeks and it looks, and plays, amazing. Capcom has taken the classic and renowned title and not only modernized the visuals but added new content to keep the experience fresh for veterans who played the original. But there are some games that deserve the same treatment from Capcom. Here are 5 games from Capcom that deserve the Resident Evil 2 2019 treatment.
well for me there's
dino crisis
clock tower
haunting ground
resident evil 3
the whole onimusha series (except 4)
chaos legion
crimson tears
ring of red
This is a horrible list!
There are a load of titles far more deserving of a remaster than these picks. Seriously ! Dead Rising, Lost Planet and Dragons Dogma aren't even old games and have had recent sequels already!
Top of the list should be Dino Crisis,
I'll accept Resi 3 because I'm hoping that happens.
Clock tower and Haunting Ground are good choices too, It would be nice to be able to get them for a non extortionate rate.
Shadow of Rome was an amazing game and I'd love a remaster or new entry but I genuinely don't think they'd get away with it today unless it was massively toned down
Resident Evil 3 yes,Dino Crisis games?Yes.Onimusha 2 hell yes.never got to play Powerstone properly so yeah i would love to see it remade, others on that list i just dont care about.
Lost Planet: Extreme Condition was released in Europe in 2007 as an Xbox 360 exclusive, though it would later come to other systems as well. Aside from the regular version, a Collector’s Edition was made available, which includes an art book and a steel case, and early access to free multiplayer maps, as well as a soundtrack cd.
JP: Not every game receives massive critical acclaim. Yet, there are some titles that stick with you despite their lack of success. For me, Lost Planet: Extreme Condition is one of my most memorable multiplayer experiences of this generation.
"Using a Vista system with 4 GB RAM, a GeForce 8800 768 MB card, and a quad-core processor, we stilll weren't able to fully crank up every setting. On our Windows XP machines with lesser hardware, the game still looks pretty, but the settings have to be turned way down. If you don't have a rig toward the higher end of the mid-range spectrum, you may want to pass on this game."
WOW...how completely insane. Why not just recommend getting a 360 for $400, and playing it on it's LEAD PLATFORM? If you have to spend $1500-$2000+ to enjoy ANY game, or "pass on it" because you can't afford that, something is SERIOUSLY WRONG.
And 5.8 is BS; this reviewer is clearly biased toward pc-centric and pc-exclusive games. IGN gave it an 8.5 for the 360. :o

Everybody i talk to in lobbies(alot of people) just think the game's fun(Huge with casual gamers, family fun and gamers of all ages), alot of team based gameplay is being realized in LP actually it has to be people are so good you need stradigy and good communication to be successful. People see the flashy graphics but long sence forgoten about it as the reason this game first appealed to them. lol
This game should not have been made for the PC its a console game by nature.

GeForce 8800 - $741.44

Intel Quad Core - 1,112.98

New motherboard for Quad Core - $227.97

Two new 2 GB DDR2-1200 memory 525x2= 1,050 <<---I would splurge for the memory on this one.
and I can't find the new heatsink/fan/whatever for the quad core so i am just using $60.
Grand Total - $3192.39 ok so let's see maybe I am wrong and their are other deals to get some of this a lil cheaper (I am not a PC gamer) I just googled everything and took the lowest price. Anyways the point here is that for $3200 I can play Lost Planet at ALMOST it's full potential? Or I can spend $460 for a 360 and a copy of the game and not worry about adjusting any settings and it looks nearly as good. Hmm this is such a hard thing to decide on...Oh and the kicker is $3200 is not even good enough to play Lost Planet, how do you plan on running crysis? Some of ya'll are INSANE!
