Uncharted 3 Being Worked on by Ex-Tomb Raider Developer?

Nothing against TR, but it really hasn't had the same feel or sense of wonder since the very first one.

Please no puzzles like Tomb Raider! The first three were alright, but the next two I played were just ridiculous. It was like they were trying to make extra money off the manual and I found myself having to go to EB twice a week to proceed through the game.

I didn't even need the manual for the first three! After TR2, you only come across people to shoot like every half an hour and the rest of the whole game is puzzles!

I can only assume that they wanted more puzzle elements. I mean why else would you bring in someone from the Tomb Raider series? U2 is superior to Tomb Raider in every way except for puzzles.

A lot of guy from NG came from Crystal Dynamics, this is one more guy, probably their old friend. No big deal here.

OOOhhhh, I wasn't aware of that. In any event, U3 should be great. Hopefully they won't keep tweaking the multiplayer when it releases like they have been doing with U2. The game has taken a severe down turn for me since update 1.05.

Yes a lot of them moved over to NG. Obvious reason why CD began to suck after they left. amy Hanning, she was behind SOul Reaver if anyone remember that game. I don't know their names in this moment, but most of those lead designer, co designer, etc are former CDynamics guy. Once that was great studio.

hmm..well I think Uncharted 3 is going to have to go in a different direction from the previous 2, simply because it'd be effin difficult to top the sheer amount of amazingly epic moments in another similar demograph. Can't wait to see what happens!

The article title is a little misleading, but you might want to read the article a little closer. He is a Naughty Dog employee, he used to work for the Tomb Raider/Crystal Dynamics team.

He's a Programmer, one game doesn't have nothing to do with the other. If you go work for another company it doesn't mean that they want to copy what you used to in your former company.
Just because one game is better than the other doesn't mean that the professionals behind it is better than the ones responsible for the other.
