Do you remember when games were jolly? When the key to success wasn't how angry you could make your protagonist, or how many shades of brown you could coat the walls with? 20 years ago all you needed was a bright blue sky, happy animal hero and a crap-ton of fruit to collect - Space Ark resurrects this spirit.
Daav from NoobFeed.com plays the Pc version of Xbox 360 indie game Space Ark. At least, that's the intention before realizing that Space Ark on PC is actually still Space Ark on Xbox 360, but now on a PC. It's the straightest port possible, menus and all.
CalmDownTom says, "The story behind the game is some completely nuts nonsense about space animals born from eggs that have to collect DNA crystals. Suffice it to say that’s not a great explanation of the story, but its not too likely you will care much."
BeefJack: "Space Ark is a good-looking and functional game, but a brain-breaking controls scheme, bland music and forgettable level design hold it back from being anything special. It’s a rubbish PC port, too."
"crap-ton" is my new favorite phrase.
