i still wonder why they dropped support for the geforce fx series. they're the same architecture that's in the 6 and 7 series.

i have one in an old desktop that's been upgraded to windows 7 and the only drivers that work are the last ones they released back in 2006 for vista. maybe i might try inf-modded drivers.

Because then it's more generations of cards they have to test the drivers on to make sure things are running smoothly. They have to make the cutoff point somewhere. Before the 6000 series is where. And that point will continue to move up with time.

upto 30% increase for L4D1 on single GPU yay!

Has anyone tried this on a mobile 8800gts yet. After Install I get a weird flicker every 10 seconds or so. Weird. Im going to uninstall everything and try again. Its not really a problem as much as an annoyance. Has anyone else had this problem? Otherwise this works great with my desktop sli setup.

You might want to try changing your refresh rate under display settings>advance settings>monitor to something else. 59hz to 60hz or 60hz to 59hz or something else that is available in the drop down menu. It worked when my desktop with integrated ati hd 3200 would flicker on and off when connected to my hdtv.

Thanks for the help, but on my laptop It only supports 60hz. Its a Toshiba with a 17in screen. Thanks for the response though.

There is another category for M version GPU's. Might not be the same driver.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II Review: A Technical Masterpiece Weighed Down by Mediocrity | CBR

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II continues Senua’s struggles against her own reality, but undermines its nuances for an Xbox epic that’s lesser in design.

Hellblade 2 looks incredible but the gameplay is a linear slog from the looks of it.

yea, you are essentially walking around in a straight sort of line or corridior for the most part and just ... look at stuff.

It funny seeing some of these sites that praise the 1st one but not the sequel.🤔

Both games have the exact same metascore 81

Maybe because it's different?
Personally I liked the puzzles and combat more in the first one and the story was better.

I'm confused how it's locked 30 on Series X tbh. Admittedly my laptop is a touch more powerful than a Series X but I'm getting 90-100 fps with low settings. Which is still absolutely stunning btw, even at low settings its the best looking game I've played (i play on high though, which I'm getting 60 with DLSS quality mode). I guess it's a CPU thing but surely it was possible

Metal: Hellsinger dev says he is against Game Pass after seeing how it affects sales

Founder of Metal: Hellsinger studio says he wasn't against Game Pass until their game launched on Microsoft's service, which affected game sales.

TheProfessional14m ago(Edited 0m ago)

Why did PS copy gamepass if it's so terrible and unprofitable? PS Now was before gamepass but it was streaming trash that no one had any interest in.

And honestly the way the industry releases overpriced and broken games with day one season passes and dlc who wouldn't want to just pay for a subscription instead of $70 per game?

Only biased PS fans would defend paying more to a corporation rather than an option that's cheaper for the consumer overall. If it's from an indie studio that needs the sales that's different but games published by larger companies are fine on a subscription model. Also any of these devs who complain did decide to put their games on gamepass in thr first place.
