Star Ocean: The Last Hope is the fourth game in the Star Ocean series, and this time around Tri-Ace is pulling the series back to a period before the existing games, in the aftermath of World War 3. Earth has been reduced to a nuclear wasteland and humanity is drawn together in search of a new planet to colonise.
