Without MotionPlus, GhostSlayer is barely worth bothering with. If you do have a dongle, though, GhostSlayer is a fun way to get some use out of it: the controls truly do make the game and helps it serve as a nice supernatural substitute for Resort's swordplay. While it's on the short side, a bit simplistic and isn't the most impressive game on the block, GhostSlayer manages to fall on the right side of fun for 600 Points and is worth a spin if you don't mind a few blemishes.
GameFocus writes: "When I first heard about the Wii's motion sensing capability and all the gameplay possibilities, I looked forward to slashing enemies to pieces. Sure, Wii Bowling and Tennis sounded like fun, but what I really wanted to do was wield a virtual claymore and stab virtual enemies in the face."
I got the game in anticipation for Red Steel 2, and its fun, its essentially WSR Sword fighting with some new models and some boss fights,
Dragon Quest Swords did this year ago and was a pretty nifty RPG as well and it didn't use motionplus.
Saying that I want a motionplus sequel, get on it Genius Sonority and Armor Project!
EDIT: Game does look good though.
From the review:
"Well, they're back. Despite hopes that they would finally be gone for good, Billy, Sarah, Mommy, and Daddy have returned to torment us with yet another Family game. And this time, they've brought along two previously-unseen family members: Auntie and Gramps. In this latest offering, the family takes to the tracks with a kart-racing game full of twists, turns, and mediocrity. As we have seen in the past, this family has a tendency to join already-flooded markets and Go-Kart Racing is no exception. And as we have come to expect, it simply cannot stand up against the competition."
maybe nintendo should start quality testing on Wiiware tiles they release. 1/10 this week, 0/10 last week, not good.
