Just tell me when they're coming. Question is do I go for a 5080 build or blow the cash on something I'll probably never fully utilise like a 5090? Heart wants 5090 but brains telling me 5080 will be fine.
$300 seems like a intelligent and competitive price point, yet I find it hard to believe it will be anywhere near that. Hopefully I'm wrong, competition is good.
Nvidias Cards never cost the same or lesser than ATi cards. Nvidia is always more.
If fermi cost less than Ati then something is wrong. You can't have better technology for a cheaper price. I heard Nvidia had manufacturing problems with Fermi so we will see.
can't wait for March 26th 2010......Judgment Day (queue Terminator music)
Thank god .
Word is that the max power draw for each card is 195watt for the 470 and 225 for the 480, sounds about right to me, I can't wait till they come out so the speculation can end.
The 5850 will drop if the price is right, then I will buy a 5850. I will have to look at the price/performance first though.
